OUR PASTOR
Pastor Mark Pauley came to Life Church during a very difficult time. Our then Senior Pastor Wayne Martin was suffering from brain cancer; a tramatic situation for any fellowship to endure and Pastor Pauley stepped in without hesitation and loved a broken church back to life.
Pastor Pauley's love for people is un-matched. He truly lives what he preaches and he is a blessing to our church. His motto is "I'm a simple man that just loves people".
His sermons are packed with power and conviction that will drive you to examine your life in a way that draws you closer to Christ. His heart is to see godly changes in our fellowship and in our community. He takes time to counsel, teach, mentor and guide our fellowship in the ways of the Lord.
He married our beautiful First Lady, Ella, in 1985 and they have one daughter and three grand-daughters. Pastor Pauley and Ms. Ella are a true example of a godly couple and they take time to teach others how to have a godly marriage.
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Our Associate Pastor
Amy Samuel has been serving our fellowship for 19 years. She heads up our Youth Ministry and assits our Senior Pastor with any needs he or the church may have. She is passionate about spreading the Good News to anyone that will listen.
Amy was ordained in 2010 and came on staff as our Assoicate Pastor in 2011. She teaches, preaches and orchestrates all of our outreach activities. She is a member of Child Evagelism Fellowship and volunteers every week with the Good News Club at a local Elementary School. She has a heart for young people and women and serves the Lord sincerely in these areas.
Amy married the love her life, Tom, in 2000 and they have three beautiful children together. When she isn't preaching, teaching, running the road to basketball practice or studying you can find her at her home away from home...the "Rivah"!
Amy's favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
